Privacy Policy

I’m Jamie Oates, an independent freelance Scriptcase consultant based in Portugal. I take your privacy extremely seriously — especially because I work 1-on-1 with high-value enterprise clients.

3. How long I keep your data

• Inquiry data: deleted within 12 months if no contract is signed
• Project & client data: kept for 7 years (Portuguese tax law)
• Client portal account: deleted on request or 24 months after project ends
• Analytics data: anonymised after 26 months

4. Who has access to your data

Only I (Jamie Oates) and the following trusted processors:

• Hetzner Online GmbH (Germany) – hosting
• Stripe & Wise – payment processing (never store full card numbers)
• Google Workspace – email & documents (encrypted)
• Plausible Analytics – privacy-friendly analytics (no cookies)

I never sell, rent, or share your data for marketing purposes.

5. Your rights (GDPR)

You have the right to:

• Access your data
• Rectify inaccurate data
• Erase your data (“right to be forgotten”)
• Restrict processing
• Data portability
• Object to processing
• Withdraw consent at any time

6. Security

All data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. Access to client files is protected by strong passwords and 2FA wherever possible.

7. Changes to this policy

I may update this policy from time to time. The new version will always be posted here with the updated effective date.
